What stood out for me today was seeing Buckley clenching his fist in celebration after his 2nd goal, he looked so pleased for himself!! It was great to see.

Let they who have NEVER made a BAD driving-route decision cast the first stone.

You must be gutted - but as people are saying, the Amex will be there long after today.

I am, of course, gutted. But i have many awesome Albion memories and will have many more...

Without droning on and on, because believe me, I could - two words alone sum up my day today, and I won't even apologise for the first one...

Arrived at Brighton Station 130 got in the queue for the train and caught the 152, nice stroll up to the ground.

Spotted Lord Bracknell outside, SHOCKED he wasn't in Dicks with the other lapdogs. Bought MY programme and entered the temple of FOOTBALL.

Quick pint of FOSTERS and a WEEWEE and I took my SEAT, fabulous VIEW and ATMOSPHERE.

A quick SCAMPER down to the station after and caught the late 516 and all in ALL it couldn't HAVE been a better day.

:albion2::albion2::albion2:

Absolutely fcuking amazing the atmosphere was out of this world, spoilt only slightly by the stupid stuard in the N stand insisting on us sitting down, he was the only one by the way,all the rest were fine, FFS this is the N stand, we sing , we stand , we create the atmosphere ,does the club want a silent stadium or a full stadium

got to say the trains are where its at for travel. when i got off my train at brighton i could already hear the chants 'ALLLLLLLLBION' AND 'SEAAAAAGULLS' from the fans queuing to get to falmer and from then on i knew it was going to be a special day. the pre match flag atmosphere and singing was incredible, i felt we were about to play a champions league semi final against liverpool not a championship match against donny. but it showed how much the game and stadium meant to all of us!

the game itself was frustrating to begin with to say the least. ref was shit, proper shit. we werent passing it about like we can, gus gets sent off and then donny steal a cheap goal - although they were very organised first half. 2nd half again frustrating due to our poor finishing. that all changed when Buckley came on, his first goal was good enough for me. 1-1 after having a shit ref and being 1 nil down. but out of nowhere 97 mins into the match, noone does a piece of ballet on the touchline and fires a quite superb ball with the outside of his left peg through - the famous, 'GOOOOO ONNN' - groans around the stadium before the even more famous words of celebration that are - YEEEEEEEEES f***ing COME ONNNN GET INNNN YEEEEESSS ring around the stadium as buckley slots calmly to win the match.

best albion experience of my life. carlisle last season was good and walsall away. the playoff's in 2004 were also good. but today was quite simply f***ing BRILLIANT! Brighton are more than Back!

Outstanding. Sung more in 90 minutes than I have in 20 yrs watching the Albion. Come home practically lost my voice. Amazing day.

Stockport & M62
Left Stockport at 6.15 am this morning. detour off M25 only added 25 mina to journey.
Breakfast with one mate then drinks with another. Parked in Coldean and walked.
Not as emotional as last week, but more atmospheric and that edge of a 'real' game. Left at final whistle and back home at 9.10pm.
Perfect weekend ends there as I only told the wife last night that I was going today !

I'm with you on that one. I have just had the bestest footy day of my life. The occassion, the beer, travelling to and from the ground, the atmosphere, the flags, the singing, the beer, the happiness by all the fans around me, what a day. 1-0 down in the 83rd minute, and we were playing top top footy and deserved at least a point. The 2 subs got the result, great change Gus, The equalizer great goal, and then Noone to Buckley - back of the net and I was there shouting "I don't F***ing believe it!" What a way to win a match, this match will go down as one of those dates etched in my memory. 6/8/11 what a day to remember. Then more beer and more chanting on the concourse - Albion Albion. What a day. Thankyou, thank you, thank you. I was there.
