Arrived at Brighton Station 130 got in the queue for the train and caught the 152, nice stroll up to the ground.

Spotted Lord Bracknell outside, SHOCKED he wasn't in Dicks with the other lapdogs. Bought MY programme and entered the temple of FOOTBALL.

Quick pint of FOSTERS and a WEEWEE and I took my SEAT, fabulous VIEW and ATMOSPHERE.

A quick SCAMPER down to the station after and caught the late 516 and all in ALL it couldn't HAVE been a better day.

Walked my dogs in Stanmer park for two hours.
Had a couple of drinks in the Hikers Rest
Walked to the Stadium.
Was totally bowled over by it's magnificence.
Went mental when Buckley scored the winner.
Now back home preparing to walk the dogs on the beach at Saltdean
All in all, a great day.

Utter shite, left home at 9.30amish, spent 6 hours stationary on the M25, didn't make it to the M23 let alone the ground, turned round for home just as Buckley bagged the winner...

Up at 845am for the 9am kick off. Brewed a tasty cup of coffee and got settled in for the match. THink the neighbours heard me when the 2nd one went in. Now watching the Villa play Braga and Canada playing USA in international Rugby. But must be off to work for a bit before long. Great start to the day thats for sure! Beers later to celebrate!

I did check the news, they said two lanes were opening at 9.00 (this soon changed to 12, then 3) so I left a couple of hours earlier than usual. Worst bit was when I came off at A24, that was chocca while the M25 was clear soI got back on the 25...

Shame. The jam & repairs were much televised etc, well before 9.30. Couldn't you have done different route e.g. Salisbury?

Great day.

Haircut, fryup, club shop in town
Train to Falmer
Drinks and warm welcome at the Swan (thought all that security must have cost a fortune though)
Fantastic late Buckley goals, amazing atmosphere
Bus home

Cracking day

Had tears in my eyes ... everything was so frigging superb. We just had to win and 10/10 to Noone and Buckley for turning things around. Only downside was the queues for Mill Road P&R ... assume they'll get that sorted or there's loads of plan B's

Deep sympathy to bathseagull ... you must be gutted m8 ... even bigger and better games coming up though as we get over the nerves

Really sorry you missed it because the atmoshere was absolutely mental IMHO.

Do make sure you see the highlights on MOTD later.

Don't worry though that atmos. is there to stay so hope you make the next one.
