Sporting events which hold no events are best listened to through the tv while a book is read, or a cryptic crossword grasps attention. Like golf or cricket or snooker, or the quarter-hour intro to erotic thrillers. Turn away from your rag, no matter it's intellect or thickness, when a crowd, or booby murderer, from something you're not looking at screams, and take a brief interest.
