The answer is that the football Gods have decreed that no Brighton defender shall score a goal this season. Hence the reason Bruno has had 2 shots hit the crossbar; Greer has missed the most sitting sitter ever seen at the Amex; and our delivery from corners and free-kicks has, on the whole, been gash.

He got behind the ball, tried to take it on the inside of his foot, misjudged it, it hit his heel and bounced up. It happens.

Not sure he knew anything about it, he was just lucky to be in the way, I think if he was trying to defend it most probably would've been a goal
