Scrap the league and restart it from scratch next season with Brighton in the PL.

If it becomes as widespread as is predicted by some cancelling the.season could be the only option if clubs squads are hit in any way

Best idea I’ve read on NSC in a long while.

Let’s start a petition.

Laughing at Dirty Leeds would be almost as good as staying up for another season!

Revert to alphabetical order to decide final placings. Top half and above Palace finish for us. Definitely the fairest solution.

Order according to year formed, CPFC2010 end up in the conference

Cancel the season but all teams start next season with the number of points they got this season.

The only fair way is to void this season , sorry Liverpool your wait goes on.

Feel sorry for the lower league clubs who would be denied promotion and those who rely on gate receipts to get by, how will the FA compensate them ???

Promote top 4(?) from Championship , demote no one, and play a 46 game PL season (cancel Cababao cup), then promote top 2 teams from L1 to C, top 2 from L2 etc. No demotions. Then gradually go back to old system.

Yeah PL match schedule would be Championship-wild but to me it would be the fairest solution.

Closed doors and Televise, free match subscriptions to your team.

If players start having to self-isolate etc, then season abandoned.

...and no Champions League?
(as there wouldn't be room for the fixtures)

To avoid an epidemic the safest and most sensible thing to do is stop the season now.
This has nothing at all to do with my fear of Brighton being relegated or the thought of laughing my rocks off as Liverpool will not win the title and Leeds will not get promotion.
Honest.

No, the only fair way would be to promote the teams in the automatic promotion positions when the season is stopped but not relegate any teams. So each division is two teams bigger next season (League One is already short a club because of Bury), with two additional relegation places going down.

Alternatively, the FA could tell the government where to stick it, because football is more important that life and death (as Bill Shankly is wisely reported to have said but didn't quite).

The most curious thing..
Does the Pools Panel still exist?

Do football pools still exist?
