Socially distant but still running. Can go miles and hardly see a soul and wear a buff across my mouth to hopefully not scare the occasional passerby. Don’t know whether or not I should feel guilty about this.
I am pretty strict in terms of any socilaising indoors but was assuming that it is Ok to go out for wlks with people and sociaise outside, as long as you aren't too close (I believe 1.5m from each other is the advise) and not all walking in a big group. I have been out walking and notice people are generally stayig apart reasonably well. I understand that one of the major reasons flu is seasonal is because people don't congregate indoors so much.
My stepson has had the virus - hopefully now on the mend, but not quite out of the woods. He has isolated himself in his room and been looked after by his 5 housemates, cooking and preparing drinks, but also including doing things like projecting skype on the wall so that he can 'join' them for dinner. They are taking it very seriously, determined to stay out of circulation for the 14 days as required despite some problems with food supply
They are all under 30 but understand that this is not about them.
Hearing about them doing all with this has made me happy. And hopeful. And angry when I see others ignoing their responsibility.
