Every other day because apparently if you wash it too much you end up with really weak hair and possibly an icreased chance of baldness!

This poll is unfair to those of us without (much) hair. In my case it's not so much "Wash 'n' Go" as "Wash 'n' Went".

:lolol:

Does anyone support my theory that a bald patch could be caused by rubbing that area on your pillow for 8 hrs a night ? I sleep this way and want to buy one of those tube pillows in the hope everything will recover, but am not confident.

My Gran used to wash her hair once a year. It was always in perfect condition and beatifully looked after.

I saw that on the telly once! One of those doctor shows with Graeme Garden. This girl had her hair in a turban and the audience were told she hadn't washed it for a year. She then took the turban off and it was long beautiful and glossy.

What the shampoo/conditioner/hairgel manufacturers don't tell you is that your scalp produces lanolin which will naturally keep your hair in good condition.

Unfortunately if you're going to try not washing your hair you do have to go through a bit of a "looking and smelling like a dead sheep" phase while your scalp adjusts.
