How much money do you need to live a happy lifestyle?

Following on from the other happiness thread:

People tell me it is sad when I say this, but i am genuinely quite happy to be 'average'. I am happy to earn an average wage, live in an average house, drive an average car, be of average intelligence etc. etc.
Because of this i am content with what i have got.

How much money do you need to earn to live a happy lifestyle?

It will be interesting to see peoples different opinions.

I would need a bloody fortune cos I am banging a Russian bird at the moment and it costs me a fortune to fly out there.
