Apart from how much it costs to get in, the price of beer and pies, plus the annual Company returns as analysed by El Presidente. That must be about the amount of financial knowledge of the Club outside of the Boardroom. So pick a number between £1 and............................

Yeah out of contact in the Summer. City were willing to pay £60m in August but less now they have won the league and Jesus is out for less time than expected. They want to get him on a free at the end of the season, but United might nip in this window and get him instead.

I would expect City to hold on to the reported £20m and tell Sanchez it his when he signs in the summer thus thwarting any attempt by United to hijack the signing unless of course they offer more.

We should not sign anyone.Wait till the summer, get Sanchez on a free and pay him 250K per week. The 25m we save not buying him we could pay him the 250k for 2 years.

Imagine Dunk or Stephens has a "match highest earner" clause.
Might make it an issue. Setting aside lack of Champions League football, obviously.

I wonder if these clauses really exist for a mid-table premier midfielder/defender ? I can see it maybe in a Coutinho / Neymar type contract, but would we really agree to a clause which would limit our options of signing a striker ? Or is it another one these Pay as Play type myths ?

(Don't claim any knowledge but wonder if TB would really agree to that)
