I wonder if these clauses really exist for a mid-table premier midfielder/defender ? I can see it maybe in a Coutinho / Neymar type contract, but would we really agree to a clause which would limit our options of signing a striker ? Or is it another one these Pay as Play type myths ?

(Don't claim any knowledge but wonder if TB would really agree to that)

Next time you go in the Nut and Bolt store, perhaps you ask them if they've a striker or two
