What's the score with Simon Jordan BR, I heard he was thinking of quitting or is it another PR exercise to get some sympathy from the Palace faithful?

palace lost 9 million pounds in the season ending 2003 this years figures would have been better because of play offs player sales and wage cuts etc this seasons all debts should be writen off with all that premiership money which gives jordan a chance to get out about even again
jordan live in spain and his brother run the club day to day which says to me hes feed up with it

Falmer
To put into slight context, I am in debt of about £10k in student loans etc. That doesn't stop me putting sucessful bids in for new pints of beer.

At June 2003, the debt was close to £10m of which £4.4m was owed to the holding company (supported by shareholdings) and £0.7m was owed as director's loans.

This was prior to BZ sale which was £1.5m, less sell on costs of £420k.

In July 2003 the club also received a loan of £460k from "The Football Stadia Improvement Fund" which is convertible to a grant if Falmer is approved, but repayable if not!

So, would guess current "external" debt is about £6m.

Which is what it was when we were robbed of the Goldstone  Directors aside , we were surely in a better situation then than we are now

BHA Football Club Balance sheet for 1999 to 2003. Formatting is a bit shite, but the info is all here. the answer is -£8.99million. Dont know how the relationship with BHA Holdings works, but they have another -£4.6m debt, but suspect they might represent the same monies as on this.

we have limited assets to borrow against.
Once we get permission for a new stadium, this becomes a tangible asset, as do future ticket sales. Everything gets thrown into the new Business Plan, which will include opportunities for risk sharing and income sharing with major finance houses.

FG will, of course, continue to bleat about the stadium creating debts. The rest of us will understand that it will secure our future.
