No, i don't mean "he's a legend" stuff. Thinking about how many more fans we are getting/will get by playing in the style we are?

Say an extra 750 at present, average of £15 per ticket. £11,250 per home game. Extrapolate that to next season, say an extra 2000 per home game; £30000 per game.

Or is this too simple a take on things?

even if the dredded day comes and some wankers take him, hes already established an amazing first team, development squad and got more fans interested so that makes it less worse.

To me he has already delivered huge value.

The football we are playing - and hopefully will have Gus for another 18 months or so - trhat could well become a culture rather than just a team.

And if that is his legacy then my God thats a value that potentially no-one could ever really put a price tag on.

I just hope that when the day comes and he moves on that Tony ensures that his replacement will follow a similar footballing philosophy across the entire set up, first team, development team and reserves playing the same strong in defence, build from the back football. Could we clone Gus for that eventuality?

Gus is pure box office. Tv apperences, newspaper inches, radio interviews etc etc, it all promotes interest in the club and makes money for the club. Tony Bloom knew all this when he gave him the job, but i bet even he is surprised how fast it is all happening.

I genuinely couldn't put a price on him at the moment.

I know i'm getting carried away but we are playing football I have never seen in over 20 years of supporting the Albion and didn't think I would ever see. I used to think that I didn't really care how we played as long as we won but I have totally changed my opinion now, I look forward to every single game so much more than I used to knowing I am going to be entertained.

In my opinion, the feel good factor he has brought to this club is so much more valuable than any money that could be pumped in.
