More than 600. Not a great show

A considerably better showing than Wigan, though. Top of the Championship and only 8000 could be bothered to go along - all of whom seem to have had their voiceboxes ripped out on entry.

No wonder Wigan have a good home record. Playing against a good side in an atmospheric ground gets the away fans going and inspires the visiting players. Playing a good side at the JJB must be amongst the most dispiriting experiences a player can go through.

Wigan has been, and will always be, a rugby league town

I say fair play to the local fans who actually support Wigan, all too easy for them to support, as an alternative, the two bigger Manchester sides

If the Albas could make it, you would have thought some of the local whippet fanciers might have made the effect...

They stayed away due to Oaf's D-lock.

:D Mind you, he managed to avoiding breaking the JJB.
