I think 50 (5 more) should be enough as then Crewe and Carlisle would have to get at least a win and a draw from their last two games (Crewe would need two wins probably due to GD) and I can't see them doing it. No guarantees though of course.
1 more than Crewe/Carlise/Northampton. The form they are in it may require 2 points, then again it may require 7. I'd be more than happy if we went to the last day just needing a draw, who'd have thought we'd even be as close as we are now after the Swindon game!
Latest BBC predictor has us staying up on the last day by beating Stocport to get to 49 points.
Northampton have two tough games against Scunny and Leeds, and Carlisle go to Cheltenham who are (bafflingly) picking up points, as well as home to Millwall who are good on the road. It never goes how you think it will though, I have no idea whether we'll stay up or not, I can't call it.
4 may well be enough, but like others have said would love to win the next 2 and then we will more then likely be able to go into the last game of the season either safe or just needing a draw. The teams around us are not winning while we seem to have found a bit of form.
I just did the BBC predictor and had us going down with 50 points! That was based on drawing at Bristol and at Huddersfield before winning the last game of the season. So, I reckon we need 7 points ,but I'd much prefer 9
I think at the most 6, and I have gone with this. Though it is possible that 5, and if results go spectacularly in our favour maybe even 4, would be enough to see us safe.
The teams above us will pick up the odd point before the end of the season but I reckon 4 more could be enough....unfortulately I think we may have to wait until Stockport for 3of them!
