How many more points needed to make play offs ?

I was just wondering how many more points people think we will need to guarantee a play off spot this season.

Looking at last years tables :

Nottts Forrest finished 6th in Div 1 with 74 points.

Cardiff finished 6th in Div 2 with 81 points.

Bury finished 7th in Div 3 with 70 points.

I reckon another 15 points should do it this year from our point of view - 5 wins from 9 definitely possible.

How many more points does anyone else think we will need ?
(personally I don't want to be going to Wrexham on the last day needing a point or three, even if they seem in freefall at the moment) and hope we will have sown up our spot before then.

I think with Vale, Luton, Swindon and B'muff all in decent form, I think we may need six wins to be sure, 76-78pts. It's still going to be tough.

I hope 75 will be enough...

With five very winnable home games to go, I think we'll get at least 13 from them, then maybe, realistically, we could get another win and a couple of draws away - 18 points should see us through

Also, I know QPR have still to play Luton Plymouth and Bristol City Im sure, so there could be a lot of canceling each other out.

I reckon it could be as low as 72.

That allows us to lose five matches between now and the end of the season.

Imagine ... the calls for McGhee to be sacked, but we still get to Cardiff and sneak a First Division place, thanks to a Leon Knight dive and a funny, retaken, penalty.

Marvellous scenes.
