In my opinion apart from having access to excellent sports facilities not much. That and having driven me to drink, although I'm not really complaining.

However I did date the head girl of Brighton & Hove High School in the early 70's, which of course was a most interesting experience.:lol:

No chance, not worth the money imo. Haven't met anyone from a public school who I feel has got a more well rounded education than I had and certainly not met anyone that I would say has got value for money out of it.

Four years with the Jesuits over here, as a day student. Top-drawer sciences, and Latin and Greek out the wazoo. Did me a world of good. Worked much, much harder in high school than ever I did in college.

I did and the best thing was that I was away from home when we lost 8-2 to Bristol Rovers and 4-0 to Walton & Hersham!!
