Strike
Sussex Border Front
You guys really put me to shame! Will try and start training for next years Brighton marathon, I should be there esp as I was good at school and PE teacher urged me to join a club and long term try and run for Sussex!
I am. But my knees start hurting after a mile and the most I've done in training is 5 miles. That said, played a lot of football in the past and was a long-distance runner at school so still hopeful to make it to the finish line in a decent time.
and me !
Be glad when it's over cos it's taken over my life - my food, my drink, my conversation, my shopping, my leisure time, my reading and even my surfing (thank you Runners World and Map My Run). I even run thru the course when trying to go to sleep.
You could defer to next year
Have you found Fetcheveryone - Running Logs, Race Calendars, Personal Bests, Pictures and Running Clubs yet, excellent site for logging training and races, and chatting to fellow runners
