[Football] How long does it take for a manager of the month curse to wear off?

The second I heard Our Chris had bagged the February MOTM gong I feared it would be some time before we got to see him losing the plot again. In this instance it's not simply a case of Albion related pessimism either, as it is commonly discussed among football supporters whether or not the MOTM gong brings with it a curse.

Since winning the award our results have been... less than stellar. Is it too much to hope that any curse also lasts a single month? And if so, will our curse be served in time for us to smite the NigeLLLLLLs?

The thoughts of any curse experts would be gratefully received.
