I wasn't too bad actually. I still couldn't see them scoring, and I was right! Hooray!

It went past quite quickly for me. When that penalty went in I BELIEVED (possibly for the first time this season) that we were going to do it. I just knew every time they got close Butters was going to boot it upfield and into touch.

He did, and I cheered every one!!

I was sure that we would win. I even said to Trigger at half-time that it would be 2-0 *and that we would win by playing some good football) :dunce:

Quite honestly it seemed to flash by - I was still coming down from cloud nine that it seemed like no time until Beeby blasted the final whistle.

they didnt have one chance in that 9 minutes, it never got past our midfield and Leon could have put the icing on the cake but shot weak and wide.
I was actually in shock, couldnt beleaive we were on the verge of the first division. :clap2: :drink:

I was sending a text to someone in Huddersfield to let them know we were 1-0 up and then I spent the next 7 minutes cheering every time a Brighton player touched the ball and booing every time a City player touched it.
An even bigger cheer when it was kicked out of touch.

I was amazed at how little time was added on at the end. There were at least three major stoppages in the second half - one of them lasted more than three minutes - plus the usual minor stuff.

I was expecting the fourth official to hold up a board announcing 7 minutes added time.

I agree with Brackers.

Injury time was far shorter than anticipated and I was half expecting something catastrophic to happen in those added on few minutes - as it often does.

Still the lads rode the storm and WE ARE IN DIV 1 !!!!!!!!!

I kept saying stuff like..

"I don't believe this, I don't believe this"

"You know they're gonna f*** it up"

"How much time left now?"

Thinking about it.. I must of sounded well :safeway2:

Not that bad at all really. They never looked like scoring at all and never went close to our goal.

Those last 30 minutes against Hereford all those years a go was sheer and utter agony. Everytime they attacked you could see them scoring because our side the was so shite.
Not that WAS shitting oneself!!:smokin:
