stalling over a new contract and looking like they would be off on a free at the end of the season....?

.....but you were 9 points clear at the top of the EPL, well placed in the Champions' league KOs, and in the league cup semi final?

Well, that's not a problem we are facing.
Lower expectations, lower achievements, more easy to manage player contracts.

Something worth remembering when we start to shit the bed because one of our stars looks like they are off.

The trick is, we simply need to keep getting better.
That's how it works.

I guess we're used to a high turnover of players and we're used to the heartache of being out muscled in the transfer market.

But I hear the scousers were booing TAA and giving him all sorts of shit. As well as being counter productive, that is a massive over reaction. The fella isn't going on strike, he's not going through the motions. He's stalling in a new contract. They really have no idea

I guess they have had their money’s worth out of them in terms of achievement, whereas we just cop a load of money for ours and are grateful to keep the kettle boiling in the PL. I expect Liverpool are able to afford to buy in new and get rid of a few on frees and some for a few bob. We’ll be grateful for where we are and how we got here.

Maybe. Yes.

My point was, really, we shouldn't get too agitated by events, should we.

Not all the while we have smart leadership and owner

Trent was poor yesterday and some would have put 2 and 2 together....

I don't think we'd get to a position where our top 3 players only had 6 months left on their contract.

Also, I don't see how anyone can be pissed off with TAA going to Madrid. He's given great service to Liverpool. He's cost them nothing but given them loads. It's not like he's doing a sol Campbell and f***ing off to your biggest rivals. He'll be going to arguably the biggest club in the world playing in a completely different country. If I was him I'd 100% go, it's an incredible opportunity after having won everything possible with Liverpool.

That is a good point. We seem to be quite clever over contracts.

This isn't a good look, though:
