3. I've got man flu, first day back at work, getting f***ed about by a bird I'm not even going out with and have just worked out when I get paid on Monday after outgoings I will have £25 to last me the rest of the month.

I had the blues just before and on new year's eve REAL BAD but the footie result lifted me, I appear to have a lot more money in my bank account than I thought I had after Christmas and I have a red hot date on Friday. I have tickets for Art Brut in Feb and Nouvelle Vague after that. Neville Staples and the Beat will be in Brighton in a month or so and am planning a mega birthday bash early next month for my last year in my 30s. DJs on the decks, fancy dress, that sort of thing. A mate of mine (who funnily enough is a regular on NSC) will hopefully be getting a big big industrial sized canister of laughing gas so should literally be a hoot. Not counting my chickens or anything but definitely feeling better.

4 out of 5 for me.
