After his great performance against Marseille he’s back to his usual running around and pointing a lot. I just don’t think he’s that strong in midfield unless there’s a lot of time and space for him.

Not going to get 100% pass-rate tonight.....

(hopefully a goal instead!)
Unlikely. He follows in the distinguished linage of Brighton midfielders who can’t shoot straight.

BBC had him as Player of the Match...
Rather than 'the BBC' (which suggest some level of journalistic knowledge) you actually mean 'the public player ratings bit on the BBC page' which is always an utter nonsense, and heavily influenced by big-club plastics voting for the names they recognise.

Not sure that big-club plastics would be fussed with a 9th vs 15th match!
You'd be surprised. Take a look at those ratings after any PL game. You'll always see the likes of Gilmour, Lamptey, Welbeck, or anyone else who has played for a big club, stupidly over-marked.

I thought he did well last night and has had a great season so far - a completely different player from his “bit part” performances last season, which is probably the result of putting his personal problems aside combined with great motivational coaching.

Think it’s going a little underappreciated just how good the Gilmour & Gross midfield pairing is, probably due to reservations over the lack of a destroyer type in there.

When they’re both on song it’s a joy to watch us cut through teams with our methodical yet quick-thinking passing through the lines.
