Think that will be after the Russia Report is released.

Ha Ha ! that's buried forever ! however, anyone with an inquisitive mind should read Private Eye and take note of the many interesting links and connections between supposedly ex-pat Russians and the Tory party's funding. I'm genuinely surprised how so many wish to throw their hard earned Roubles at our government.

I’m no Tory, just trying to get behind our elected representatives in these most trying of times, I remain convinced that the Government is following to the letter the advice and recommendations of the brilliant minds of the medical people at their disposal. It is not about Labour or Tory it is about coming together as one to defeat this horrendous virus.
As I stated earlier, I will forgive no one who enters into a willy waving contest in order to make political gain.

But the problem is that Patrick Vallance isn’t a “brilliant mind”. He only got his current job as he was free and available..after being booted out of his last gig. May didn’t hand pick the best from a huge pool. The exact opposite. And besides, virology isn’t his area. And he’s made some very bad calls so far

Ah the old what would Corbyn have done, I don't care he is not Prime Minister, so it's neither here nor there is it, but I would hope that he would have totally owned it, just like Gordon Brown totally owned the financial crisis and bank bail outs.
Regarding the PPE and test kits, do you not watch the news, and they are not 2 bob hacks either.
Of course it is right to call the Government out if they are ballsing it up, and they are.
Even the Tory press is slating them today on these very subjects.
Would you rather we just carry on believing the crap whilst people are dying or call them out to hurry up and do the right thing.
3 weeks ago I gave Churchill Johnson 8/10 in difficult circumstances, but as we were warned, he can't do details, he bluffs, lies and blusters his way through life and now in the most unfortunate of circumstances this is turning out to be true.
Just when we don't need it.
But the wages package is generous and tricky to sort out, the 1,000,000 trying to get UC must also be difficult to work on, but I will not praise him any further until I get my first payment, my accountant applied ages ago and has not heard a thing back, yet.

Ages ago ? this lockdown has been in place less than two weeks.

Remember when the Government had to do that humiliating climbdown from "herd immunity" and started promising testing and stuff? Is it just me or does it feel like nothing has happened and "herd immunity" still feels like the goal?

Will be interesting if (likely when) Starmer wins the Labour leadership contest this weekend and there starts to be someone half-way decent holding the Government to account. He could make absolute hay, not like the TV broadcasters have got a lot of other stuff to fill their airwaves with.

Anyone who ‘makes hay’ from this dreadful, dreadful time for our nation will never be forgiven, We should be coming together to fight this virus, not trying to point score.

The same Matt Hancock who has been pushed on to Question Time tonight ? Which is actually filmed on a Wednesday, so that's 5 days through his 7 day isolation ? poor sod, I'm almost willing to vote for him,

So just for clarity here - if this were being played out, with Jeremy Corbyn in number 10, and he’d dithered for 3 weeks, then made a series of catastrophic bad decisions, and been caught out lying about his plans, you’d now be keeping your counsel, and throwing your full support behind his government at this terrible time?

Big mistake sending poor Hancock onto question time. He’s just recovered from Covid-19, has done the daily press conference and now is on the firing line on QT. He is not up to it and is being taken apart. What an embarrassment for his government, party and Country.

Dont know who that Felton bloke is but the NHS advice is slightly different from his interpretation.

How long to self-isolate

If you have symptoms

If you have symptoms of coronavirus, you'll need to self-isolate for 7 days.

After 7 days:

if you do not have a high temperature, you do not need to self-isolate
if you still have a high temperature, keep self-isolating until your temperature returns to normal
You do not need to self-isolate if you just have a cough after 7 days. A cough can last for several weeks after the infection has gone.

If you live with someone who has symptoms

If you live with someone who has symptoms, you'll need to self-isolate for 14 days from the day their symptoms started. This is because it can take 14 days for symptoms to appear.

If more than 1 person at home has symptoms, self-isolate for 14 days from the day the first person started having symptoms.

If you get symptoms, self-isolate for 7 days from when your symptoms start, even if it means you're self-isolating for longer than 14 days.

If you do not get symptoms, you can stop self-isolating after 14 days.

Hancock himself was working from home for a few days prior to self isolation wasnt he?
Seems to have ticked the right boxes

We are a nation, we are fighting a war, we are one.
Please take your divisive manner elsewhere.

Yes, let's all take to the street to give this faultless Government a minutes applause, no let's make it an hours applause given the wonderful job that they are doing to keep us all safe.

Anyone who mentions the decision to not join the EU procurement programme to get earlier and cheaper access to PPE etc needs to be locked up, as clearly our wonderful Government were correct to put Brexit ideology before the safety of our frontline NHS staff.

In fact lets give knighthoods to the whole cabinet now, and treble their earnings due to their faultless handling of this crisis. Gove giving out incorrect information and causing confusion, never, people weren't listening correctly.

To use the words of this wonderful Government everyone needs to ramp up their support, or shut up.
