How do I reduce photo file sizes?

I took some pics yesterday but can't upload them onto NSC as the file size is too big. I have stored them in Adobe photoalbum but am clueless as to how to reduce them to a smaller size.

Any help compadres?

Just doing my pics now before uploading to my site but your imagme programme should have an option for image re-size if you have paint shop pro it's shift and S that should do the trick.

I used "Microsoft Picture It" which came with my computer and saved copies of the photos (being carefully to re name the file so to note loose the originals) using the option to compress and reduce the picture size. I would guess as Paul says you may have a similar option
