Surely all you need to do is buy a pair of wireless speakers? I have some. They aren't too bad but can pick up interference depending on your location. Since they also can run off batteries if needed, I can play music on my PC downstairs and place the speakers safely in my bathroom while I soak in the tub, without any risk of electrocution.

I have an amp and speakers and want to play music from i-tunes on my laptop wirelessly, richer sounds used to do a audio reader thing that does the job- but they have now stopped doing it....

I use AppleTv for exactly this purpose, its a great piece of Kit. You can get the older 40GB models fairly cheap now. Check on the bay .

use iTunes and get an apple AirPort express.

You hook it up to your existing wifi network, plug some speakers into it and iTunes can stream to it.
