Commentary was very fair, I thought. The crowd noise level was pretty good, apart from the first 10 mins we bossed the game.

We were quiet I thought, but then we were at home and that's our perogitive (speklling?!). Fair play to QPR, they made a lot of noise, butnthen being the visiors you expect it, don't you?

The singing sounded good on tv. Stand up if you want Falmer was very clear (but then I would know what it was, wouldn't I? Maybe not so clear to an unbiased viewer)

The banners across the North Stand were excellent.

The commentators were good (even Kamara)

We came out of it looking good. (can't answer for the radio)

The commentators explained the "We want Falmer" chant for the uneducated.
They also talked of QPR's interest in LKnight in the past tense not present.
I thought we looked good on telly, so good in fact I only flicked over to Live Speedway 3 times!:lolol:
I didn't catch who Man Of The Match was, although Cullip got my vote.

Knight was interviewed on Sky Sports News so I presume it was him.

The Sky Sports One programme cut off almost immediately after the final whistle because their next programme was scheduled for 10pm.

I only caught half the interview with LK

I thought we looked pretty good against a team who I fully expect to win the league. The team spirit has survived Bobby's departure, which it is difficult to put a price on, and we created chances against a good defence.

But while the Rangers player deserved to go, he clearly head-butted Mayo and can have no complaints, the Ginger Prince pulled out the sort of delayed swallow dive that makes me want to punch the perpetrator. Helped us, but we didn't make any friends in the office where I was watching it.

We have to get Knight til the end of the season (there is no way he's even getting on the bench at Chelsea), and Henderson looks a more than capable partner - so same goes for him. Otherwise we risk undoing all the good work in October.

I'll try to provide a neutral's view from somewhere other than the slums of Burslem...

I thought you looked pretty good. Cullip put in another good performance (he's a bit scary, though, isn't he).Leon Knight (no relation to Dick, I would imagine) was class - I wouldn't mind betting that Pardew will be calling Chelski in the morning with an offer! Our lad Darius had a fair game too. Nothing spectacular, but he put himself about, had a decent effort saved and looked like he is starting to get match fit.

The atmosphere was...well, there WAS an atmosphere! Loudest I've heard at Withdean. And yes, your "stand up if you want Falmer" came through loud and clear. Has Dick Knight been handing out free cans of Red Bull?

Well done, chaps.

As Pardew was the co-commentator on 5 live, I don't doubt it.

Our only hope is that the commentators had very little interest in
the game and got so bored that they ended up having a football
trivia quiz between themselves and discussing the Premiership.

Pardew has a boring opinion on everything and may have been too busy listening to himself to notice how good Knight is.

Worryingly, he did mention how well he thought DC was playing.

From where I was sat, there was a hell of a lot of noise from the North Stand: one of the loudest I've ever known it.

It seemed particularly intense when play was near us - the cameras should come every game :)

Was it my imagination or did the commentator last night put a lot of emphasis on the "shit" part every ime Shittu got the ball and seemed to relish saying it.

No. It wasn't your imagination. I noticed the same thing.
