I've known Guinness Boy (and Guinness Girl and the little Guinness's) for thirty odd years. 'Bully' is not a word I would use to describe him. Forthright, perhaps, but even then that is slightly betrayed by an extremely soft side that he wouldn't admit to but I think is secretly proud of.

I think he has been a bit sharp once or twice, but his intolerance of bigotry and knuckleheadedness always wins my vote.

I wish he'd play cricket again though- not as an opener though. He has a tendency to divorce himself from straight balls in the first couple of overs.

I'd like to know why Vagabond is so obsessed with Leeds United though. I think it was over 600 posts about them by a couple of months back.

Aren't you related ?

Seriously, when have I ever said anything remotely like this?

Are you serious or on a wind-up? A lot of your posts seem very confrontational to those with differing opinions which is probably why so many posters are saying this to you.

A Mod alert has obviously gone out, have you seen how many of them are currently online?

About 20 minutes ago, if you'd looked up into the sky in a westerly direction, you'd have seen the ghostly image of Glenn Murray's goal celebration being projected onto the clouds.

This is a mod call-to-arms: Drop everything and get the **** online NOW, there's someone we all need to pick on.

A bit like how Batman was summoned to get involved.

Not all super-heroes wear capes.

But as said I have no issues with anyone biting back. That’s fair.

I imagine like most mods he went through a thoroughly humiliating ritual at the hands of King Bozza at NSC Towers, left weeping and feeling thoroughly ashamed of himself?

No?, oh just me then.

So you acknowledge that you are actually confrontational and antagonistic to those with differing opinions then? That's what the reply above implies.

To be fair Vagabond, none of them are perfect, but I think we all agree that they do tend to get most things right.

And to prove the point, I happen to know Guinness Boy isn't the only mod who considers you a self-important tedious bell-end. They nearly all do.

This is an outrageous slur on the mods I'm afraid Simster, there is absolutely no need for the word 'nearly' in your final sentence.

No one else here is confrontational? Are you serious? Have you ever seen the match threads? There are many who are more confrontational than me.

I have no issue with that, I give as good as I get.

I've met one or two of them. They're universally dull. Right now, they'll be drinking some herbal tea plotting a witty thing to say without being at all outrageous, or interesting for that matter. GB may well stick out for not being quite so dull, hence the OP is so upset. GB could reflect on whether he needs more dullness training.

It will be on his personal improvement plan for the 2021/22 season.

Humble apology to the one mod who I wrongly assumed didn't consider him a self important, self righteous, boring gimp. To be honest though, I'm not sure which mod that could have been.

Anyway, I'm sure this thread shows you that most people on here appreciate the "job" Guinness Boy and others do, and faced with a choice between GB losing mod status or vagabond spending a month off here, would choose the pompous boring cretin f**king off for a month (maybe even a year?) all day long.

Hang on, I don’t think that we are talking about zefarelly here are we?

I do not possess a parka, may have briefly flirted with one when I was 13, but not since. useless things.

I say useless, maybe a good dust cover for half a Lambretta.

It's a sad state of affairs to see people try to shut down negative opinions on here. Really wouldn't surprise if it turned out Vagabond is a Barber stooge.

... and if it's of any comfort, its not just the mods :)
