It will be two games a season, one home and one away shifted. The success of the baseball tours will make it inevitable. Games in North America, Middle East and the Far East I am afraid. I still say we could use the League Cup here, provided it keeps the final at Wembley. As stated above the Charity Shield would also be possible without too much complaint.

The gap between the Premier League and the Championship is growing. My prediction is that once the Premier League start with this (and they will) that gap is going to grow.
The if the $$$$'s get there way there will be no more promotions/relegations and the Championship will become the top league in England.

I can see owners voting for all sort of mad shit but I can't see them voting for no relegation. There's no way that they could vote for something to happen immediately (I think the reduction from 22 to 20 was on two years notice) and there'd have to be 14 clubs who would think they're totally safe for the next couple of seasons: how many is that? The Big Six plus Newcastle and Villa (possibly West Ham) - a long way from 14 (and even some of the Big 6 and Villa could be in trouble). Who would want to risk being cast into the abyss?
