How come 'NSC Football Simulation' loads up about 5 mins before any other forum?

I mean, as a forum it's not like it's big, or clever, or even a wee bit interesting. And it's load time is eating into me four Euros per sixty minutes here in Captain Corelli Mandolinland. Please mods, make it piss orf into BB5 forum obscurity. Or do I have to call in THE WIZARD to make it disappear...

Even on my (techies, start drooling now) 1Mbit uncontended connection into the HEANet backbone, it still loads a few seconds before the rest.

I think you'll find that as it is a link, it appears almost immediately - it's not loading the messages within the forum. I'm sure an extra 200 bytes won't disrupt your viewing pleasure!

The delay is loading the Big Board messages, not the Football Sim ones.
