So inflation has just jumped up again, the economy is stagnant, record bankruptcies, the country is effectively bust and a Labour (a Labour!) government while looking at every possible way of screwing money out of poor people and the low paid lets bankers of the hook and make their version of casino capitalism the best in the world.

Add to that illegal wars, corruption, socially engineered mass immigration to create a new block of Labour stooges, city and town centres becoming boarded up crime ridden no go areas where politically correct rozzers are to scared to go then you have the state of modern Britain.

No doubt the Glorious Leader will still be believing in final victory a bit like Hitler predicting that Germany would win the war in April 1945!!

Yet people still vote for this sack of incompetent, lying shite.:(

The two factors that will count against the Tories at the next election is Dave Cameron's 'I'm just an ordinary bloke' act, at least people like Boris Johnson are honest about their upbringing. And the fact that the proposed Tory cuts will result in lots of jobs in the public sector being cut - would you vote for a party that you know are going to cut back expenditure in the sector you work for?

I think there are lots of other issues, but those are the main two we'll see at the election.

Not really supporting any party, I have to say it is all terribly interesting.

Because Tories fail to offer an alternative?
And due to Godwin's Law you just lost any argument

It's the complete void when it comes to alternatives that inspire confidence that will lead some people to still vote Labour.

I've always been - and remain - a staunch Tory, but the current bunch inspire me with precious little confidence, that I could understand why they fail to win hearts and minds.

Cool.
What are their plans on sorting out the economy then ?

Stop trading with foreigners, deport all the non-English doctors and skilled immigrants, drive all the big business out of London and wait for us to return to Feudal Britain

Interesting points. I certainly agree that the "Call me Dave" routine is a PR disaster. There will have to be large cuts made as public sector finances are out of control as Labour has printed money and gambled away the country's future. And yes having worked in the public sector I have seen at first hand the amount of waste and incompetence there is, as opposed to the breathtaking greed and incompetence on a massive criminal scale in the private sector. We need a radical overhaul, but to be honest I have no faith in any of the main parties.

ACCIDENTAL! Sorry I did not see my mistake. Dictator I meant. Why are people calling me comrade? Never call me a communist ever again.

Being strictly anti-capitalist, I personally hope the economy collapses so I couldn't give a monkeys

How would that work then?

If the economy "collapses" then presumably we are trading in goods and services because our currency has become worthless. Do you honestly look at Zimbabwe and think "Mmmm, there's a situation to envy."

Anti-capitalist is just utter nonsense. Please explain to me how your "anti-capitalist" World works, and we can all pick holes in it. I do enjoy an afternoon of shooting fish in a barrel.
