Celtic must be quite popular in Japan at the moment as well. Their manager worked in the J league and has brought in quite a few players to Scotland like Kyogo, Hatate, Maida and Iwata who have all done well.

Celtic opened their official Japanese website, not only SNS.

Celtic own 5 Japanese footballers now and 3 of them have been starting almost all games this season. Two of them (Kyogo Furuhashi and Reo Hatate) are surely the best players in Scottish league this season. I think Brighton trying to get one or both of them would be good. Kyogo Furuhashi is the top scorer by scoring about one goal per 90 mins this season. I feel Brighton need a Center Forward who can score a lot. I want Mac Alister to stay in Brighton, but if he leaves this summer, Reo Hatate can play well in the position. He is the best playmaker / midfielder in Scottish league now (he is good at passing, dribbling and scoring too). I think both Kyogo Furuhashi and Reo Hatate fit De Zerbi football. Edit: Maeda, another Japanese playing for Celtic is also very good.

Left = Hatate / Right = Mitoma

Just chiming in to say that I'm Chinese American, but since there aren't any good Chinese soccer players, when I found out about Mitoma I jumped on the bandwagon. I haven't really watched much soccer over the years (much more of a baseball fan), but Mitoma has got me watching a lot more this season.
Welcome to NSC @MitomaFan , You have chosen a rather good time to start following the Albion :)

Last week Japanese visitors were responsible for 2.47% of NSC's traffic, making it the fourth largest source of visitors.

In the same week last year, just 0.24% of NSC's visitors were from Japan, the 14th largest country.

Ohtani!!!!!!!

Ohtani is like Messi + Manuel Neuer (one of the best attacking players and one of the best defending players in the world), so he is toooooo big in Japan. Too many Japanese nationwide tv channels are covering Otani related news too much. Ohtani is sort of baseball Messi but I want to see Japanese football Messi in the future ;)

About Ohtani

I hope the Japanese boy will become a good enough footballer to play for Brighton in 2035 ;) (the Japanese boy is playing for an English football club in England now)
Edit: The video was filmed this week (so, it's a new one)

It seems not only Japanese football fans but also Japanese celebrities are visiting Brighton's football stadium to see Mitoma and Brighton's games. This 29 old girl is a celebrity famous for her big breasts . Japanese football media keep reporting Mitoma related news and some are not related to football itself at all. One of the news that Japanese football media were reporting yesterday was "the big breast girl was visiting UK to see Mitoma's game"🤣

Here is the link of her pictures🤣

Back in London
The gathering for the players’ exit on Wednesday was very, very busy with Japanese fans. I think he’s on his way up in the world. He’s a proper talent.

Brighton games are now on the telly in Japan a lot. I know this because both my brother-in-law (Tokyo) and a mate of mine (Osaka) live there and tell me so.

How big is Mitoma back in Japan

Anyone done the probably 5ft 8 ...same as in the UK gag?

Mitoma is probably 5ft 9in in UK because of the tilt of the earth could make him 6 inches taller. Or a half an ounce lighter in weight.

Do they do the streaming? I think Premier League is in every country but it can vary in the likelihood of the channel being common or not.

Man Utd eye swoop for Kaoru Mitoma after watching Brighton star https://mol.im/a/11881721
Can we just stop posting this kind of rubbish? Between now and the end of the season most of the Brighton players apart from Dunk, Gross and Veltman (ironically, 3 of our best players this, and every seasons) will be linked with a move to a "bigger club" by twitter and various media outlets

Just ignore, and enjoy the rest of the season!
