How big a boost if he stays?

SC is not a Brighton fan so why shouldn't he talk to a prospective employer who can offer so much more than us? If he then turns them down he's a f***ing big time legend in my book. Only a fool or a Brighton fan would have said "I'm not interested in your magnificent stadium and 1st division team Mr Ego, so piss off and stop disrupting my preparations for Saturday's game"

Sorry, I disagree, a true professional will see the contract through whatever offers come their way.

I take everbodys point well. he has considered another job offer. Who wouldnt? your right.
The true test is if he takes it or not.
So in answer to the orginal question....yes a massive boost.
We got there in the end!

There have been plenty of examples of true professionals in the footballing world but sadly no where near as many since the money men took over. Just a sad reflection on life as a whole I suppose. It just peeves a bit when we, as a club, seem to extend unconditional loyalty to almost everybody without getting it in return.

If he goes I will understand the reasons, after but he will never be a legend in my eyes because he hasn't really done anything to deserve that accolade. Brian Horton had better reasons to go than money and Peter Taylor at least stayed until the end of the season and look at the abuse they get. Coppell looks like leaving four months into a new contract and is a Legend? No way.
