ok so most of the match was a bit pants, and we all know that.

However why not give a bit of credit to Wilkins for making the subs that changed the match. He spotted what might make a difference and it certainly did.

Some would say inspirational substitutions!

ok now slate me....but i do think this

Should have noticed considerably earlier but credit where credit is due. He did do the only thing he could have possibly done in that position though!

with the players on the bench,it wasnt hard, what worried me,that 80% of the family stand were shouting out the same thing 15 mins earlier,it came off this time so,yes praise indeed, a win is a win, keep the faith

But why did he play one up front when at last we have a midfield?

We have won 4 out of 4, i want to hear you PRAISE LEEDS

Credit where credit is due.

yeah only one more win until you are on 0 points now :p

fair play to you though , never had anything against Leeds - all the best (except when we take our regular 4 points off you :) )

Southend did not come for a poxy point, they also earned their goals and could have taken all three points from a team with less resolve and staying power- and a team without a manager who was always thinking, throughout the game, about how to get back into it.

Credit where credit is due.Mr Wilkins selected the team and formation which was complete garbage in the first half, and the Albion only started to play when the sterile, erm, tactics of the first half were abandoned.Pay £75k for a striker and play him up front on his own with nil support? At home? Good move,Mr W!

Yes, once we put some FORWARDS on, we were far better. I was accusing Forster of not having any interest in the game, but I suppose you couldn't have blamed him. Bas was fantastic, and I thought Jakey was excellent too. Fair play to Wilkins for seeing that the change was necessary, but what possessed him to play one up front at home I cannot think.

Good job Martot tired towards the end , or else Bas Savage wouldn,t have got on.
Mr. Wilkins made his tactical double substitutions in the 66th minute.Took him until Martot was knackered to even consider giving Forster some support, in the 73rd minute.
