Sydney .
Seeking recommendations for 3 agents in or near Hove - preferably a name rather just an agency.
Require valuations for probate purposes with the aim to appoint one of them to market the property once probate has been obtained.
Property is located near Blatchington Mill / Holmes Ave area.
Wha are the three closest agents in Hangleton like ?

I'm not an expert in that I don't buy and sell a lot of property but I can recommend Cox & Co from recent experience of selling my mother in laws house. Local company whose Directors have years of experience selling property in Brighton/Hove/Portslade. Made the whole process as simple as possible for me which was important. S.peak to Marc Cox.

You asked about the 3 closest agents. Not a clue on the other 2, but I know Dean and Co at The Grenadier has been going since the 70s, and has a very good reputation. Ask for Les Newman, the boss.

Dean &co are good.
Simon Goldin at Goldin Lemke excellent.
Mark Cox at Cox and Co lives up to his name. Full of Cocky false matinées and doesn't listen. He undervalued my house 2 years back and tried to sell to a developer he had on his books for £620,000. Goldin Lemke subsequently sold the house within 2 weeks for £75,000 more.

That really does go on and always has. Honest agents have told me about others who operate that way, I know actual examples where the sellers best interests came secondary.

My area ! Lol . Unfortunately all the agents I know in Hove none of them specialise in hangelton .

They are good at getting high prices for properties in central Hove , Hove Park etc but don’t really tend to bother with some of the other areas like hangelton , woodingdean , Saltdean etc unless it’s given to them . I guess all down to what earns them the most in commission and what’s easier to sell etc
