I agree, is he instigating mass persecution, hang them all, burn their homes, no. I'm old fashioned, I don't think gay scenes in programmes like Eastenders is suitable viewing for young people but love watching re-runs of Yes Prime Minister with Nigel Hawthorne. I think it's stereotypes Hope Akpan dislikes, which I understand.

He hasn't threatened or slandered anyone, you're allowed to be homophobic. On the flipside a gay person is entitled to dislike black people, you're allowed to be racist.
