Homophobes

I was speaking to a couple of homophobic lads today and they told me how they are feeling more and more victimised in todays society. One of them told me they felt so intimidated when they went out and found it difficult to express their homophobicness (word?) without getting picked on. They told me that being homophobic was not a choice they had made, they had been born that way. Is it right that in 2013 it is against the law to be openly homophobic?

I don't class myself as homophobic and have one or two gay friends, but i'm not keen on the way gays feel the need to be over the top about everything. It's as if being gay is making up for some other inadequacies and they feel the need to 'come out', or 'tell the world' etc. Should i, at some point in my life had a big 'letting everybody know im straight' party??

And i think they should have their own toilets and not use the normal gents loos.

Did you ask them if their boyfriend knew they were there?

Surely the only thing that matters is what a person is like as an individual ? Not whether they are black or white, gay or hetero but what life they live on Earth and what they do. Anything else is moronic.

I do contend that you are taking this thread with a seriousness it doesn't deserve.

You are probably right GR. The original post does not really warrant any sort of civilised debate.

The reason you are a homophobe is not because you don't like the way some homosexuals behave, like you describe - but because you seem to think they are all like that.

Ok, explain why gay people all have a gay accent then? I have never heard ANYONE who isn't gay speak in that accent apart from David Walliams (cue people proving me wrong). When they decide to be gay do they have to start learning the accent?
