If you think 5 days before the season starts is early you may have a point, most people would call that late I would have thought.

As long as the team trot out wearing the new kit for the first game of the season then that's all that matters in the real world. Well, to the sponsors at least. As for the rest of us, suspect most would be quite happy if the team continued to wear the SKINT tops forever and a day

The kit could have been ready in time, but you would have had to sew on the logo yourself.

Perhaps the launch date is dictated by Errea more than the Albion, although of course that will not stop certain posters having a go at the club. As much as we all love the club, I suspect that we are not top of Errea's priorities when it comes to organising their production schedules

And I suspect that the club have signed a commercial contract with Errea to deliver the kit by a specified date. Very much doubt they'll be saying 'Mama mia, you only managed to finish seventh in that deeply sheet division last season, therefore you can go to ze bottom of ze production schedule' Excuse my Italian.

Questioning why it's hard to get a kit out more than 5 days before the season starts is "having a go"? Blimey it's hardly on the radar of flak that the club gets on here and certain posters can't accept any criticism of the club without getting all precious.

We can all give criticism to the club - when it's correct.

You said the kit is 'always' late. It isn't.

It's not even 'usually' late.

‘Kin hell. A few days before the start of the season is fine in your book then? Good business practice? This from a club who a few years ago were so skint they sent the begging bowl round for an extra twenty and the empty the change in your pockets. Surely in this context getting the kit out early to generate additional revenue should be the priority?

Correct. The last home kit to arrive after the season had started was the 1998 Donatello kit. This years will be in the shop 5 days before the season starts, so stop moaning everyone.

Getting the kit out earlier does not necessarily generate extra revenue - there is no evidence that that would be the case. It would generate the same revenue, albeit a couple of weeks earlier - but it's the same finite number of units shifted.

Above and beyond that, yeah, it's fine.

Why do people keep moaning about the sponsor, ok it doesn't look great but how many sponsors actually do.

To moan at the club for the logo of the sponsor is f***ing stupid
