HOLIDAYS - going anywhere nice?

I've just booked a last minute holiday on teletextholidays.co.uk.

We fly out to KOS on Wednesday for a week. It's All Inclusive and an absolute bargain. My son does his last exam today,so we aren't stuck with the added expense of normal school holidays.

The downside is that I won't be here for the France game but I'm sure I'll find a nice bar showing the game. I'll be back for the second England game. People don't normally want to travel when the world cup/Euro competitions are being held and it showed! The travel company waived all booking fees if I booked with them.

Anyway. Has anyone else booked a holiday for this summer?

Going to enjoy the summer in Brighton then hopefully off to Japan in the autumn to stay with Shizuoka Dolphin for a few weeks.

Funnily enough, we fly out to KOS the Wednesday after next, so we'll miss you by one week.

Last time I went on a holiday in the sun, we bumped into Lush at the airport and it turned out the Lushes and the Simsters were at the same resort in Portugal during the World Cup. That was two years ago, and I distinctly remember Lush coming over to me by the pool to tell me that she was about to check on the internet to see if the Falmer decision had been made. I guess we're still waiting...
