Hoiw many have you had and what is the best one you've had??

It will have to go saome to beat this one from the office of the notoriously publicity shy Duke and Duchess of Sussex. A rare glimpse into their lives and wishing us ALL a happy holiday season.

(FWIW Mrs Crod and I have had 43 holiday cards to date)

Why does their Holiday Season not extend to the New Year? That sort of implies they are separating Christmas from the New Year - which presumably is what they are trying not to do?

I’ve had two. Both were torn up and chucked in the bin. Either wish a Merry Christmas, or dont bother.

This gets on my tits almost as much as the rapidly growing use of ‘ gotten’ rather than got.

Anyhow, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to one and all.

I work for a US company and frequently have to annotate Americanisms back into English. Anyways, there are far worse things in the world to worry about.

A card from Dave and Alec at The Ship, listing their xmas opening hours plus an email from Gurjit with a very clever attachment. (When you click on it, it opens a new window that says 'Season's Greetings' in comic sans against a backdrop of falling snow and plays A Spaceman Came Travelling by Chris de Burgh. I've been blasting it out non-stop all morning!)
