Help please all, looking for pics of The County Ground from the Air anytime since planes were invented!
Tried Google Earth but the timescale thingy only goes back to 2004 which is'nt much good!

Anyone know of any decent websites?

Found the 2nd link earlier and theres not much on there.

My Brighton and Hove

Some while ago there was a thread on My B&H linking to a site showing aerial photographs of B&H taken in about 1946. Still showed bomb craters etc. I will have a look tonight.

The URL below should take you to a navigational aid whereby you can move around Sussex using the up/down and left/right arrows in the blue border of the map. Once you are close to the desired town, click on the nearest green aeroplane shape and you should see a 1946/7 aerial photo of that area.

Alternatively you can select the town by using the seach box in the top right and then clicking on the nearest green aeroplane. It can take a few attempts to get to the correct town/village.
