And in the squad for Tuesday apparently.

Interesting, does this mean that he is near recovery, or does it just mean that Adams is going to put out our second-string team on Tuesday?

good news I guess :) fair play , think a few were doubting whether we'd actually ever seen him play for us again

Hinsh and Elphick sounds good in theory doesn't it. Just the question of fitness.

instead of recalling someone who is struggling for fitness in the conference, why the f*** doesnt adams swallow his pride and recall lynch, who by all accounts is playing well in the championship in a poor side.

this just gets farcical

BTW I heard along the grape vine that Macalister is recalling all his players out on loan

Is this grapevine the evening argus? Cause it was in there last week.

As I understand it, Lynch wanted away. IT wasn't that he was desparate to play us, and Adams was too proud to be dictated to and banished him.

Lynch doesn't want to come play for us because we make him earn his spot, which he didn't want to do for us anymore.

Because recalling him would only make him want to play for us LESS?
Because we probably don't have a recall option?

I think this was mentioned last week.

Even WE have picked up more points than Leeds in the last 3 matches:lolol:

How can you "earn your place" when Hawkins will clearly get picked ahead of you regardless of form and injury?

That's without the clear "Virgo must always play" policy as well.

If I was a talented young centre half who is being coveted by bigger clubs in a higher division, then seeing two centre halves arrive with (seemingly) a guaranteed 1st team spot, I think I'd want out as well.

I would swap Virgo for Hawkins and put El-Abd into midfield. Either way, I am concerned that was seem to have a very defensively-minded team.

ooops...sorry didnt see it on here last week, but a couple of guys at work who are Leeds STH's reconed there was something in McAlisters programme notes or something like that.

Yes Lynch did want away, however he is our player until someone buys his contract and it is blatently obvious that our defence is awful at the moment, yet we have loaned out one of our best young defenders......

Irrespective if he wants to play here or not. he is a Brighton and Hove Albion player

Its not really irrespective though, he refused to play for us earlier on in the season and I'd say it was fairly short odds that he would do the same again. All we would have if we recalled him was a player who didn't want to be here, bringing down the team morale further and still not playing for us.

Its a shame really as he would without a doubt improve our back four, but he wont ever be wearing a Brighton shirt again.

What people are failing to realise is that we probably CAN'T recall Lynch EVEN IF WE WANTED TO. This does not make his alienation for Hawkins any less of a laughable piece of management on every imaginable level, it's just logistics.
