Just got a text from the club

Hinsh is a doubt for the game with Ipswich, shoulder injury, it forced him off against Saints. Will be a big loss if he is out as he has been playing very well since coming back from injury.

Jake Robinson is out for 4-6 weeks with ligament damage following the reserve match against Crawley so that is his season over.

I still reckon Jakey could be a decent partner for GNW.... guess we will never find out now
Maybe Jake will have a bit more joy in L1. He's been a big disappiontment this season.

Butters would have been very close to a recall on merit anyway, even without Hinsh's injury. The centre-half pairing undoubtedly did very well at Millwall, but they were well protected by an outstanding midfield performance that day.

By contrast, there was some hesitancy and lots of aerial balls lost last Saturday alas. Butters has been a rock for us over tha last 3 years and I'll be delighted to see him back, partcularly against a clever physical player like Alan Lee.

I feel he will be just as disappointed in his season as any of us...... however i feel a little sorry for him as he has suffered more than anyone from MM's constant changing of his front two

Jake needs to bulk up a helluva lot to succeed at any pro level. :drink:
I don't think so. He could use a bit more muscle, but not at the expense of losing any of his pace.

It's a shame he's out for the season, although he wasn't getting a look in anyway.
Butters I think needed to be recalled anyway. Hinsh and McShane are both good defenders but the lack of height in there with those two is a problem.

Norman Gall on SCR made quite a few references to McShane and Hinsh not communicating with each other in the Millwall game and were being caught out because of it. Anyone who was there feel the same?

The pairing certainly didn't work against Saints, especially early on.
