Watched both series avidly, however, the laddish antics of Buck Cannon and Manolito brings home the bacon for me. Not forgetting Victoria Cannon.

Trampas was the first TV hero, I can remember.
So much so that I assumed he was The Virginian.
But he wasn't.
Really enjoyed the High Chapparal. As a TV show though, Alias Smith and Jones was head and shoulders above the other two.

The Virginian was on Friday so I always relate it to the beginning of the weekend, 2 days with no school. My memories of HC is that it was on Mondays. Also it was on BBC2 which unbelievably we didn't have. We had to go to my Nan's who had BBC2, but only if someone stood in a particular part of the room with the indoor aerial. Them was the days.
