For anyone who purchased a heritage stone which was situated outside the west stand. Please be advised, that I have found out today that they all have all been moved to the wall up the ramp by the memorial garden.

No they added duplicate stones on the wall as the ones outside the stand on the floor paint came off making them unreadable, but also left the ones on the ground where they were. Have these now been removed?

Yes it’s all tarmac now where they used to be. Didn’t know they had move till yesterday.

The ones on the ground were duplicated to the memorial wall, as Saltdean says. I imagine the club has just lifted the original ones and disposed of them to replace with tarmac.

The quality of the stones on the ground, were awful and almost unreadable after a few months, which is why the club duplicated them to the memorial wall.

Thing is, they weren't marketed as memorial stones at the time.

We bought one collectively as a wedding present for a friend of ours who used to go regularly, but moved to the USA with his wife. Bit weird if its ended up in a memorial garden, they're both very much alive.

Not the memorial garden - it is on the wall of the double backed ramp that cuts out the stairs.

Yes, it starts at the side of the memorial garden.

There are gold and black plaques within the memorial garden for people like the late Ed Bassford, Paul Welch, Sarah Watts etc.

Mrs AR and mine are tucked away near the steps.
Was a struggle to get to see them last time, due to a crowd of heavy wheezing blokes, that congregated near the viewing platform, blocking our view.
