I have recently decided to get my BHA memorabilia tastefully framed which predominantly includes programes and tickets from BHA's most momentus games.

To my horror I cannot find my ticket stub for Hereford 97. I thought I had kept it secure in Paul Mcdonald's sock (which I got from him after the final whistle) but alas I cannot find it anywhere.

So, after a fruitless search amongst various fooball memorabilia web sites I am coming to the primary source.

Question is who wants to sell their's and what's the asking price?

Send me a message if you are inclined to sell.

I know how you feel - I lost my piece of Goldstone netting and was momentarily in possession of Stuart Tuck's shirt from Hereford, before having to give it away. No way you're getting your hands on that stub though!

I got mine framed with the program, and the ticket from the last game at the Goldstone & program. Never thought of selling, but as the value of something is what someone is prepared to pay for it, was wondering what this would be worth?

you kept it in a grown (although he was quite small if I remember rightly) sock for 13 years and expected it to still be there???

It's perished. Like my underpant lining.

A possibility as obviously the sock has never been washed and still has mud caked on it from Edgar Street. I wore the sock myself for a number of days after the game so it is somewhat 'funky'.

Trouble is I never made a conscious decision to keep tickets etc. however I have ended up with nearly 200 mainly from the 90s to date. I have all the key ones from the semi/cup final/play offs/26-4-97 but not Hereford.

Intention was to frame sock, programme, newspaper clipping and ticket..............no ticket though hence thread.

This is the $64,000 question isn't it as I guess its worth nothing to anyone other than a Brighton fan who was actually at that game.

I am seriously interested in getting one, and expect that in these challenging economic times a seller could be found so that a mutually agreeable price could be agreed.

Not $64,000 obvioulsy.

Yes, but the sentimentel value to someone who was there is priceless. It's not the sort of thing that anyone would offer for sale so I guess it would take an offer that can't be refused to prise it away.

Completely understand your point and that's why I went to memorabilia dealer websites first. The memorablilia bods I spoke too did not think the ticket stubs would ever be in the market so here I am.

What can I say, I would like to commemorate that particular game and have my sock and the programme but I don't have the ticket stub. After 13 years I doubt anyone who has one would want to sell it but, money talks and whilst I am not looking to go stupid I would be prepared to make a reasonable offer.

As I say its a poser.

I've got a stub from the Home Supporter's End. I'd like to keep it but don't mind getting it scanned for you and emailing it so you can print it off?

Not quite the same, but better than nothing?

ps - the reason I was in the Home Supporter's End is that my wife is from Hereford and her Dad was a steward at the club. As you can imagine, dinner at their house was quiet that night.

If it's "only a bit of f***ing paper" why keep if for 13 years?
