Lots of ordinary people there too, which is great to see. Have just booked tickets for my MIL to attend the service of remembrance at Durham Cathedral next Saturday, which should be equally stunning.

Agree - must be very emotional for him, I wondered if he was beginning to lose it a little, with the angels comment at the end. (Which is fine incidentally for the reason you stated).

I have just been reminded that St Paul's is an Anglican Cathedral.
I seem to hear someone shouting in the background during the address . . . . if so, how absolutely classless
