I don't listen anymore but back in the day the interaction between Brazil and the educated, eloquent and witty Potts about the markets was brilliant.

There was one chat where they were talking about the effects of the credit crunch on the markets, and Brazil offered that he had noticed how quiet it was at lunchtime in Langan's.

Part of Barclay's Private Bank & Overseas, he always came across as a nice and funny bloke.

RIP, aged just 50.

Shocking news. I worked with Henk at Barclays from the former BPCI days into the ‘new world‘ of Barclays Wealth (I was part of his promotion interview panel when was up for Director). Genuinely lovely guy and hugely knowledgeable….he absolutely nailed the 2/3 minute slot simplifying the markets in a style that suited the TS breakfast show at the time but he was equally adept dealing with ‘serious’ financial journos. RIP
