i wasn't there how bad was the drop? FDM is a class act and has been loyal to the albion but hendo is the future. he's younger and football is cruel game so hendo takes it for me

well, he dropped a high ball under pressure - it wasn't as if there was nobody anywhere near him. And their bloke missed, so it's fairly irrelevant, just something that needs to be worked on!

Butters is excellent in the air so yes I think he could do better than Joel Lynch. As for Henderson, did anyone remember some of his saves in the first half? He made one mistake that didn't lead to a goal, get over it.

dodgy that , 2nd goal sneaked under him and then that dropped catch was awful . Should really of punished us but Fallon missed it haha

Think Gatting deserves ticking off for giving away the foul as well

ahh well , we did it + can learn

Hendo is quality and it would be a shame to see him leave because of whingers and moaners. he's young and the FDM won't be playing that much longer....

You wot? :lolol: The guy had a free header! Aren't you more worried about how that happened!

Wayne Henderson is a very very good goalkeeper..
Every single time tonight he picked out Revell with a pin point ball fully 70 yards on to his head.
This not only keeps possesion it sets up attacks!
turns defence into attack in seconds....

He is an international and is class. All keepers make mistakes at times but at least we now have two very capable keepers..

and in league one, to have an international keeper is surely something to be proud of??

lets support Hendo for once!

:clap2: :clap2:

do a dance sight better job then lynch, who lost virtually everything in the air tonight

I only noticed him winning tackles - but they did get success on his side so you could have a point there.
Henderson got beat on his near side, and it was very scary to see it happen at the same place right in the last seconds.

It just shows we needed that third goal, or else we'd have just 25 points if we'd only got the one point, and be something like 7th from bottom. If we keep this up though, no reason why we can't start looking at a playoff place .

Henderson was immense tonight, some brilliant saves and had no chance with the goals no matter what anyone says.
But made a bad mistake which could have cost us two points. He made a similar one on Saturday too.

Not in my eyes. He tried to come and get a cross which was going to a Swansea player. No Brighton player was going to win the header so Hendo had to at least try and get it.

He made no mistakes tonight and made 2 or 3 outstanding saves. I just hope opposition scouts underate him as much as some on here do, he;s the best weve had since Keeley.

I'm not saying him coming to get it was a problem - far from it, nothing worse than a leadbooted keeper, but I thought he should have got it, it seemed to go through his hands. If he was not sure of catching it he could have punched. The ball still ended up at it's destination and with Hendo stranded. Fallon missed a sitter.

I don't underrate him, he's a good keeper, but he is not faultless.

Fair enough. One thing I will say and Im sure you'll appreciate is that sometimes its not as easy as just thinking "Shall I stay on my line or shall I go for it?". Its also to do with the amount of players in the way. In tonights instance I think he had to go for it as the bloke would have been head & shoulders above our defenders and would have had a free header - the reason I think he missed it was that there were too many people in his way.

The problem is that we have had quality keepers for a number of years now and everyone has forgotten what a dodgy keeper looks like in an Albion shirt. Just be grateful we don't have a Nicky Rust or Mark Walton in goal.:)

Hendo or Kuipers both quality
