Am I the only one who does not rate him that highly. I agree, that he is probably better than the other options we have, but he will always be until those options are given a chance, i.e McPhee, Wilson-Denis and Marney. With Henderson in on loan, he has to be played (usual condition of a loan), these players will not get the chance to play except in things like the 'Auto Windscreen glass cleaning bog brush vase' which if they play well, it's ' well it was only the ...... ' and if they don't it's ' and it was only the ....'

Then Henderson goes back and we, the manager and the players themselves have no confidence in what they can do, so we go back down the loan route....

I'd say the jury's still out.

He's not bad at holding the ball up and not bad in the air. But he's got no pace and seems to have no confidence in front of goal.

I've not really seen the lad except while drunk watching the QPR game in a bar in Cyprus. My mate was raving about him but I was not convinced. I certainly would have rather seen McPhee start due to what he has been doing in pre season.

I can say much about Henderson I’m sure he is a very good player but Knight seemed to out shine him.

Only seen him once in the QPR game but not convinced, think with all of SC contacts he could get someone better in, although Im willing to let him prove me wrong as at least it looks like he wants to play for us at the moment

Nope not convinced, currently he doesn't have the awareness to be a decent striker (at any level).

He reminds me too much of Barrett last season. Always promising to produce something - but then nothing.

No wonder he grabbed the ball at Oldham to make sure he took the penalty. It was the only way he could ensure getting on the scoresheet.

Lets not forget, he did win the header which resulted in Leons winning goal v QPR. Having said that, like the others here, I'm not yet convinced. For a big fella, he doesn't put himself about much. On Monday I thought there were a couple of crosses he could really have attacked and got on the end of, but he doesn't seem to have much of an aggressive streak in him - which you definately need in this league.

If SC could just get a bit more out of him - maybe feed him a raw steak before kickoff or something.

I thought he was much better on Monday than against QPR but still didnt convince me that he has much more to offer than Mcphee who is our own player and we should be trying to give the experiance.

See how he gets on next month or so and if no good ship him back to Pardew!

Thought he did well on Monday. The Reading fans say he's pretty frustrating but then he can smack one in from 30 yards and all is forgiven. Will be good if he extends the loan. He has contributed in nearly every match he's played in (not Barnsley) and I still think him and Leon need a bit more time together until we see the best of the partnership.

Didn't Darius score for you on Monday? According to our local radio and TV news he did.

No Dennis, his shot was going wide and was hoofed into his own net by a Luton defender (Coyne)... He's trying to claim it i think but it wont be given as his shot was going well wide...

Personally i'm happy he's staying for 1 more month as he seems to be improving slightly with each game but he does need to improve a lot more, his first touch is woeful and he looks quite lazy at times, if he doesn't improve this month i dont think we should extend the loan again even if we get the chance...

I've seen him 4 times and it's true what someone else has said he looks lazy.
At Barnsley it looked like he just wasn't interested.
Personally I'd give McPhee a go.
