Help the Albion on Sunday

The annual post-season "tidy-up" of the area around Withdean Stadium takes place this Sunday, 20th May, from 10am to 12 noon.

If you can spare a couple of hours then please come along to the Hospitality Suite (the portacabins) via, I think, Gate 21 from the car-park to see Litter Patrol Co-ordinator Paul Whelch who will give you the necessary equipment. He will also be providing modest refreshments as well.

Clearing litter is a commitment the Albion made when permission was given for the use of Withdean Stadium. While most of it is NOT dropped by Albion fans, some certainly is and anyone who helps on Sunday is helping the football club to honour its pledge.

Thank you.

Barrel of Fun

Abort, retry, fail
I shall try and attend. I need to pick up the car (as the council have removed free parking on Sundays  ).

The place is cleaner that it used to be, before Albion moved in. Plus, the rubbish men are rubbish and do not pick up spillage!

In a cave
I went with my other half and also picked up my Mum along the way.

Lucky we made the effort as only 9 other people did. Paul Welch came down from London and also Paul Samarah made the effort.

Lucky some of us did!

Anyway we did the Falmer top car park (up beyond the Gym next to the tennis courts) - I have no idea what the local people and facilities are like, but this appears to be a favourite area for courting couples judging my the number of used condoms about. Either its the locals or lots of people are saying they are going to football then having a quick one outside the ground - no wonder there are so many empty seats each week!

Needless to say they are still there as no way were we picking them up!!!!!

It could have been the fair weather fans, I heard a few say they'll be f****d if they'll go again.

In my defence, I was left unsupervised.
